We build programmes that may include:

• Running (or walking, or lounging around) in the bush or the mountains
• Team problem solving activities (indoors or outdoors)
• Rock climbing or abseiling
• Kayaking
• Technical mountaincraft
• Orienteering
• Tyrolean traverses
• Navigation
• River crossing
• Caving
• Rafting

These activities can be used as an end in themselves, but normally we use them as part of larger event, designed to meet your needs. You may want to include activities run by other local operators such as quad biking, horse riding, high ropes, whitewater rafting, or whatever – we can organise this.

Some activities will require strength, co-ordination and the whole team to help, while others will focus on lateral thinking skills and test your problem solving prowess. Any activity can be incorporated into an event framed to test group decision making abilities and leadership skills.

Short team-building activities:

We can put together a mobile array of activities that can be delivered anywhere. These are designed to provide quick punchy activities that are great fun and get you moving! Keep it simple, or use them in the context of powerful facilitation to develop specific aspects of your team.

Minefield
Your team has to negotiate across a minefield using pure teamwork. This requires great skill and communication to complete.

3D Web
You will need to plan carefully how you successfully complete this mission. Which team member are going to pass through the web and which ones are going to coordinate it?

Toxic Waste
A container of toxic waste has been left in a school playground. Your team is responsible for lifting the container of waste and taking it to a safe location. You can practice with your team but during the real event you will be blindfolded...you will rely completely on team communication to complete this task.

Missile Attack
Construct a launcher and hit the target using only people power to send the projectiles on their way.

Uranium 235
Your team has been chosen to safeguard an accident in a nuclear facility. Your challenge is to extract the unstable fuel rods before the reactor has a meltdown. The problem is that only two team members can expose themselves at a time, and each team member can only be exposed once.

Bog of Eternal Stench
Make your way from one side to the other without touching the Bog. Only people with good creativity and problem solving skills need apply.

Brainstorm (indoor activity)
An indoor brain-only competition requiring maximum creativity and a competitive streak!

Tyrolean Bridge
The bridge you have to cross has been blown apart and needs to be re-constructed as a matter of urgency. You have only makeshift resources and a limited time!

Longer Problem Solving Activities:

Cave Rescue
Deep underground lies an injured caver. You and your team have been flown in from around the country to lend your expert skills. With a complex set of resources and instructions you will be guided to the accident site. There you must deal with what you find, and extract the victim. A successful mission will bring you great rewards and fame!

The Amazing Race
Are you more cunning than your colleagues? Can you think on your feet? Can you work with a small team for the ultimate prize? Use the speed, brains and strength of those on your side to outwit the other teams.

Operation Mona Lisa
Solve the alternative Da Vinci Code to foil an international art crime. This high-paced activity requires brainpower, lateral thinking and a spirit of adventure. Pit your wits against a group of shady characters who are out to get you. You will need to think fast and act faster.

Lost
You have crash landed on a mysterious and isolated island. Strange events are occurring around you. A group of ‘Others’ is after you. Elect a charismatic leader, then use your wits and the resources you find to build a raft and escape.

Geo-catch
Using advanced GPS technology you must locate and destroy exotic intruders. Analyse the skills required, conduct a skill appraisal of your team then assign roles accordingly. If you get it right, your team will be the one to complete the challenge first!
