Peak brings together people who are passionate about the outdoors and about developing people. We work and play in the environments that matter to us – mountains, rivers, sea, bush. Our experience in management, training and facilitation means that we can deliver on our promises of high quality outcomes for you and your team.
Mark Woods is a safety management expert and creator of Peak. He was a founding member of the Register of Outdoor Safety Auditors. He has held senior management positions and driven Peak for 2 decades. He is a gifted tutor with a wicked sense of humour and a huge amount of hands on experience managing people in difficult situations. His experience as a alpine rescue leader has lots of trade off to most work environments, not to mention a wealth of anecdotes and war stories!
Simon Graney is skilled facilitator and expert in experience-based training. His experience includes time as the Learning & Development expert on the management team of Tower NZ, a Marketing Manager, and a whitewater instructor travelling the world. He is on the board of the New Zealand Outdoor Instructors Association, but prefers exploring a new river in a kayak.
Henry Worsp is a bloke. Raft guide, fishing guide, sea kayak guide, recognised avalanche expert and extreme skier. Part of the management team at Ruapehu Alpine Lifts, he’s the one you want on the other end of the needle if you’ve broken your leg on the mountain. Henry was last seen covered in a blood under a large pig in the Taurewa Forest. We use a bunch of other people to help us out when we need to. Rest assured that they meet the same high standards we demand of ourselves. Our reputation requires it.
